A free plugin that sends your DAW master straight to a phone over Wi-Fi. Check how a track sounds on a phone with no exports and no file transfers: turn the knobs in your project and hear the result right away on the phone speaker or on headphones connected to it. Now for macOS and Windows.

HOW TO USE

  • Last on the master. Insert SLIMZ PHONE LINK last on the master bus.
  • The link. Open the plugin window and press the phone button - a link appears.
  • Send the link to your phone. Any way you like: device-to-device sharing, a message or an email to yourself.
  • One Wi-Fi network. The phone and the computer must be on the same network.
  • It connects by itself. The link opens in the browser and the phone connects automatically. If the sound does not start, tap the screen or the Play button once.
  • Turn off silent mode. Be sure to turn it off on the phone, otherwise there will be no sound.
  • Mute the computer. Turn the computer sound down any way you like so you hear only the phone.

SOUND AND PRIVACY

  • Uncompressed and lossless. The phone gets an exact copy of the master.
  • Your project stays the same. The plugin only copies the master signal and never touches the sound in the DAW.
  • Your network only. Everything stays inside your Wi-Fi, with no servers and no cloud.
  • Latency. On good Wi-Fi the delay is barely noticeable.

SLIMZ DETECT - VERSION 1.0.0

A free tool that finds a track's tempo and key. It works as a VST3 and AU plugin right in your DAW and as a Standalone app that analyzes a whole audio file almost instantly. For macOS and Windows.

PLUGIN IN THE DAW

  • Live analysis. Insert SLIMZ DETECT on a track or on the master and press play - BPM and key appear while the track is playing.
  • LISTEN. Turn on LISTEN and play the part you need. After you stop, SLIMZ DETECT analyzes it as a whole, just like a file, and shows a precise result.
  • The sound stays the same. The plugin only listens to the signal: no processing and no latency.
  • Undo and Redo. LISTEN switches can be undone and redone from the keyboard while the cursor is over the plugin window.

STANDALONE

  • The whole file. Drop an audio file into the window or open it with ⌘O - the whole file is analyzed almost instantly.
  • Copy the result. ⌘C copies the file name, BPM and key.
  • Always on top. The Always on Top dot at the bottom of the window keeps SLIMZ DETECT above other apps.

MIDI

  • MIDI import. The melody appears as light outlines behind the vocal for an easy visual comparison.
  • Precise MIDI offset. By grid, by bars or down to 1 ms.
  • MATCH. Matches the selected notes or the whole clip to the MIDI, keeping the singer’s octave and the note timing. One Undo reverts it.
  • MIDI export. Saves the edited vocal notes to a .mid file with pitch, position and velocity.
  • Saved with the project. The MIDI part and its offset are stored in your DAW project.

SLIMZ TUNE X - VERSION 1.5

A big update for macOS and Windows: a friendlier note editor, a new MODULES screen, the AUDIO EDITOR page, SLIMZ AI VOICE right inside the plugin, a faster SLIMZ LINE X and stable work in your DAW.

NOTE EDITOR

  • Sibilants and breaths on the notes. Detected "s" and "sh" sounds and breaths appear as blocks right on the notes - drag or scroll to change their volume, even for several at once. Reset - Control + double-click.
  • Animated sibilant and breath blocks. A violet spiral shimmers inside each block, and the block lights up during playback.
  • Formant fader (F key). Changes the voice timbre of selected notes or the whole track from -12 to +12, and the button stays lit while the timbre is changed.
  • Smooth transitions with the S key. Select neighboring notes and hold S to make the transition between them smoother. One Undo reverts it.
  • Joining notes. In Join mode, drag a box around several notes and join them with one click.
  • Stretching a note by its edge. Stretch the audio right in the note editor without switching to Warp: drag a note edge sideways to lengthen it into the neighboring note.
  • Moving a group of notes. Selected notes move in time together without distortion, and the shift is shown in milliseconds.
  • Vibrato speed. After you paint vibrato with the brush, a V button appears: left for slower, right for faster.
  • Easier Vibrato mode. You can shape the note pitch right away, and the mode button lights up.
  • Editing notes from other tracks. Faded Ghost notes from other tracks can be edited right here and auditioned as a tone or as the voice.
  • Warp and notes stay in sync. After stretching the audio, notes sit exactly where the voice is actually heard.
  • New Warp look. A large bright waveform, colored sibilants and breaths and stretch markers, and clicking in Warp no longer touches note pitch.
  • Scrubbing with the right button. Hold the right mouse button on the grid, in Warp or on the overview waveform and the playhead follows the mouse.
  • Right-click note reset. Reset note works in every mode, and Reset gain in Gain mode.
  • More accurate note detection. Fewer false octave jumps and phantom notes, and low notes are detected better.
  • Real pitch curve after reopening. Notes from a saved project show the real shape of the voice again.
  • New note look and colors. Notes are now rounded with a soft gradient, and the mask next to the title switches their color: violet, red or yellow.
  • Smoother note grid. Zooming and scrolling are smoother, and the grid lines are lighter and calmer.
  • No lost commands. Undo, Redo and other commands run as soon as processing is ready, and Play and Stop respond instantly.
  • Small fixes. No leftover bits at note edges, the toolbar no longer disappears, and pop-up panels no longer overlap.

SOUND

  • Proven sound. Transitions between notes are fixed at a tested 60 ms.
  • Seamless sound updates. After an edit, the new result comes in without volume dips.
  • Better Vocal Preview. The voice is as loud as the reference tone, both use the shared Sound slider, and the sound fades out gently.
  • Reference tone while stopped. When TUNE X is used as a regular insert effect, you can hear the note pitch even while your DAW is stopped.
  • Processing indicator. While processing runs, an icon spins in the header, a yellow sign appears on errors, and nothing gets stuck.
  • Fewer clicks. Less risk of clicks when the result updates during playback.

AUDIO EDITOR

  • New AUDIO EDITOR page. It shows the processed vocal waveform: select a part and mute it (Mute) or tame the quiet parts (Expander). It has its own Undo and Redo.
  • Easy navigation. Pinch the trackpad to zoom, use Shift + wheel or the middle mouse button to scroll, plus Follow Cursor.
  • Sharp waveform. The waveform stays crisp even on Retina displays.

MODULES

  • New MODULES screen. Pick modules one at a time from the list on the left, each with a large live waveform, BYPASS and SEND TO ALL buttons and smooth transitions.
  • Knobs switch modules on. Turn a knob above 0% and the module switches on by itself; at 0% it is bypassed.
  • Modules start at zero. In a new clip every knob is at 0%, while old projects open with their own settings.
  • Status light in the list. Shows whether a module is on and toggles it with a click.
  • New knobs. Glowing dots, smooth turning, and you can type an exact value with a double-click.
  • LEVELER evens out the volume. It automatically lifts quiet words by up to 24 dB and protects peaks, silence and breaths.
  • True LEVELER waveform. Shows the real result and builds in the background without freezes.
  • New SLIMZ DENOISE X module. Removes noise with a single MIX knob, runs separately and does not slow your DAW down.
  • Rebuilt DE-CLICK and DE-BREATH. The modules were rebuilt: detected spots are highlighted, and old projects sound the same as before.
  • SEND TO ALL for cleanup. Copies settings to every track playing at the same time, and CLICKS ONLY and BREATHS ONLY work for the whole group.
  • CACHED CHAIN mode. SLIMZ TUNE X, SLIMZ LINE X and the modules remember finished processing steps so they do not recalculate them. It is off in new plugin instances.
  • Cleaner module cards. The RENDER button moved to the top, and the waveform fills the whole card.
  • Light pulses on waveforms. Glowing pulses run along the waveforms - purely decorative.
  • DE-PLOSIVE and AI DE-REVERB removed. These modules were only in interim versions.

SLIMZ LINE X INSIDE SLIMZ TUNE X

  • Fast waveforms. Waveforms appear instantly, and long sessions open without lag.
  • Every clip on its own. Clips with the same name and copied clips are aligned individually.
  • Reliable GUIDE choice. Clear names, the choice is kept, and deleting a clip while the menu is open no longer crashes the plugin.
  • New SLIMZ LINE X look. Track cards, MATCH marks, V/R badges and a small progress indicator.
  • Narrow windows. Header buttons wrap to a new line instead of being cut off.
  • MATCH reset. Control + double-click returns it to 50%.
  • Alignment stays. When TUNE X is used as a regular insert effect, modules applied after alignment no longer bring back the original sound.
  • Safe closing. You can close the window during alignment and the plugin will not freeze.
  • Standalone SLIMZ LINE X matches. The same look, the same shortcuts and the same CAPTURE / CAPTURE ALL buttons as inside TUNE X.

SLIMZ AI VOICE PAGE

  • SLIMZ AI VOICE in MODULES. Send a vocal part to be converted into another voice - the result is saved in the project, with BYPASS, Undo and Redo.
  • The new voice is editable. It has its own notes and its own AUDIO EDITOR, and converting again (Convert) starts from the original voice.
  • AI VOICE as a regular effect. When TUNE X is used as a regular insert effect, capture a part with Capture, convert it and listen with Play right on the page.
  • The new voice in exports. The converted voice is included in Bounce and Render in Cubase.
  • Files in the Music folder. Results are stored in Music / SLIMZ TUNE X Files / AI VOICE LINK.
  • A calm page. Buttons and the waveform do not jump, and the new waveform fades in smoothly.
  • Stable work. The selected clip is always used, BYPASS brings back the original voice, and the queue never gets stuck.

INTERFACE

  • New top bar. Buttons are grouped into neat capsules and shrink when the window is narrow.
  • AI ASSISTANT panel. Opens from the SLIMZ logo, for now marked SOON with links to our social media.
  • Lighter load. Hidden plugin pages no longer use computer resources.

SETTINGS AND SHORTCUTS

SLIMZ MAGIC LIMITER 1.0.0 is out for macOS in VST3 and AU formats. Threshold and Out Ceiling control loudness and peaks, while Release offers manual and AUTO modes. Input and output meters show levels, and the waveform marks sections actually limited in red. MAGIC LINK synchronizes Threshold, Out Ceiling and Release across instances in one of seven groups.

SLIMZ CHOIR X - VERSION 1.5

SLIMZ CHOIR X 1.5 for macOS expands choir generation with thirds and fifths above and below, key selection, and Major or Minor harmony. Octaves, thirds, and fifths can be combined, while the app generates only the selected parts without an unnecessary unison layer. Tracks now have a remove control that preserves the WAV and supports Undo/Redo. The control rail is more balanced, scrolling is isolated, and Back safely handles unsaved changes. Always on Top is enabled at launch. Project format and licensing remain compatible.

SLIMZ LINE X - VERSION 1.0.0

SLIMZ LINE X 1.0.0 is now available as a dedicated plugin for aligning vocal doubles to a selected lead. It works through ARA 2 or as a regular Insert, supports independent segment processing and preserves the natural attacks, breaths and character of every take.

THE CORE PRINCIPLE

  • GUIDE is the lead vocal track that every other recording follows.
  • The selected GUIDE is always displayed as the top lane. Every other take appears below it as a DUB.
  • Processing can be applied to the entire capture or independently to each selected song segment.
  • RHYTHM corrects timing. VOCAL works with timing and also tightens vocal intonation.
  • MATCH sets how strongly each dub follows the lead. ALIGNED and ORIGINAL provide instant processed and source comparison.

HOW TO WORK IN ARA 2

  • Open LINE X as an ARA extension on the vocal events you want to align.
  • For every separate segment, begin by opening the event on the top vocal track. That event becomes the GUIDE for this section.
  • Select only the required range in the LINE X timeline, then choose RHYTHM or VOCAL. Other areas remain unchanged.
  • If the next part of the song uses a different lead or a different set of doubles, repeat the workflow separately and begin from the top track again.
  • Use the reset control to remove processing from the selected area. Undo and Redo let you move safely backward or forward through edits.

HOW TO WORK IN INSERT MODE

  • Add the regular LINE X Insert to the lead track and to every double track.
  • CAPTURE arms the current track. ARM ALL prepares every LINE X instance in the project for capture at once.
  • Play the required section, then stop the transport. Live waveforms appear while recording, and the finished GUIDE and DUB waves remain visible after Stop.
  • Choose the lead from the top list. It becomes the first GUIDE lane while the other captured recordings appear below as DUB lanes.
  • Select a segment, apply RHYTHM or VOCAL, set MATCH and compare the result through ALIGNED or ORIGINAL.

  • An active SLIMZ TUNE X license automatically activates LINE X. Existing dedicated LINE X licenses continue to work.

SLIMZ CRISTALIZER 1.0.0 is now available. It is a compact plugin built around one Enhance control and the ultimate solution for adding brightness to vocals, with fast intensity control and no unnecessary adjustments. The first version is available for macOS and Windows in VST3 and AU formats.

SLIMZ TUNE X - BETA 7 + LOG

A small Beta 7 update is available for macOS and Windows. The core functionality and sound remain unchanged, while the build includes minor technical fixes and overall stability improvements.

The package now also includes a separate diagnostic logger. If an error occurs during use, it will help capture the necessary data, identify the cause more quickly and prepare a precise fix.

We recommend installing this version for every user so you can work with the latest SLIMZ TUNE X build and make future support more efficient.

SLIMZ AI VOICE - VERSION 1.0

The first version of the app for converting vocals into the voice of a compatible RVC 2 model. SLIMZ AI VOICE preserves the pronunciation, intonation and dynamics of the original performance, runs locally and is available for macOS and Windows.

SLIMZ TUNE X - BETA 7

A major update to LINE X, interface speed, ARA stability and Insert mode.

LINE X AND THE TIMELINE

  • Regions with identical names no longer conflict.
  • RHYTHM and VOCAL work on any selected region, including repeated sections and regions placed later on the timeline.
  • Processing a new region no longer resets alignment that was already completed on the previous one.
  • Duplicated and split ARA events now receive the correct source audio.
  • False processing stops caused by a missing GUIDE message have been removed.
  • Multiple track waveforms appear much faster and no longer load slowly one by one.
  • Preview waveforms appear immediately while the precise shape is refined in the background.
  • GUIDE selection, region switching and reopening LINE X are more reliable.
  • Ready waveforms and alignment results are preserved.

SPEED AND STABILITY

  • Potential hangs and instability when closing a project have been removed.
  • Heavy LINE X, MODULES and LEVELER previews are now built in the background without blocking the interface. DE-BREATH and DE-PLOSIVE remain in development.
  • Windows open faster and the first waveform display takes less time.
  • Analysis, alignment and ARA audio reads now finish safely when a window or project closes.

MODULES AND INSERT

  • GUIDE TONE in the Insert version can now sound while transport is stopped - pressing Play is no longer required for monitoring.
  • MODULES automatically adapts to the window size.
  • The DE-PLOSIVE card has been prepared.
  • DE-BREATH and DE-PLOSIVE remain temporarily locked as SOON and do not affect audio.
  • The state of locked modules is preserved for their future release.

SLIMZ TUNE X - BETA 6

A major update to vocal processing, modules and the LINE X alignment system.

SLIMZ MODULES

  • Added DE-BREATH - automatically detects and reduces breaths while preserving consonants and word onsets.
  • Added LEVELER - smoothly raises quiet words and phrases to the level of the main vocal without making the sound feel compressed.
  • Module cards can be reordered - their visual order now matches the actual processing chain.
  • SEND TO ALL synchronizes module settings and Power state across all TUNE X instances in the current project. Synchronization is off by default.
  • All modules are off by default and do not change the sound until the user enables them.

LINE X

  • Alignment now works independently for each project region: the selected vocal on the upper lane becomes the GUIDE for that section only.
  • Processed regions remain locked and are not rebuilt while working on later sections.
  • The tail of the previous event no longer enters the alignment of the next section.
  • Short backing phrases, late entries, separate syllables, overlapping events and muted tracks are now supported.
  • Attack and consonant accuracy have been improved. At MATCH 100%, sounds such as S, SH, CH and T align more precisely with the lead.
  • Alignment is preserved after tuning or module changes, track switching and reopening the project.
  • Added single-region selection, local reset, live MATCH, VOCAL/RHYTHM modes, ALIGNED/ORIGINAL comparison and Undo/Redo.
  • Added horizontal zoom and timeline navigation.
  • Waveforms no longer disappear or get clipped after swiping or moving toward the edge of the screen.

PROJECT WORKFLOW

  • Fixed Bounce, Render in Place and multitrack export with enabled modules.
  • The plugin remembers the last open window: MODULES, TUNE X or LINE X.
  • The side navigation now follows the processing chain: MODULES - TUNE X - LINE X - SETTINGS.
  • Added Vocal Preview - hear the actual vocal at its new pitch while moving a note.
  • Added Smooth Screen - scroll inertia can be enabled or disabled.
  • The bar grid now matches the sequencer immediately and no longer jumps after opening the window.
  • The CORRECT knob no longer moves notes that were positioned manually.
  • LINE X now includes Capture mode and ARM ALL for workflows without ARA.
  • DE-CLICK remains in SOON status and is not included in Beta 6.
